2010 Personal Exemption Amounts from the Internal Revenue Service for Federal Tax Returns

For 2008 the IRS has established the Personal Exemption Amount to be $3,650 for you, your spouse and each dependent claimed on your tax return.

According to several sources there will not be a Personal Exemption Phaseout for 2010. It is expected President Obama will restore the phaseout for personal exemptions in 2011.
